Ordering Online

Ordering online with us is safe and secure!

We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is Sage Pay which is 100% secure.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit/debit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a cheque, but this will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we despatch any merchandise, alternatively you can order over the telephone or send a BACS transfer, please speak to a member of staff before doing this.

Order Tracking

You can easily track your order online with Bathroom Mirrors, simply enter your order number and e-mail address on the homepage, press 'Track' and you will then see the status of your order. 'Pending Shipment' means that your order is yet to be despatched or hasn't been ordered from a supplier, 'Partially Shipped' means that we have ordered the item(s) in from a supplier, and 'Completed' means that the order has been despatched.

Return/Refund Policy

Before returning any goods to us please contact our customer care department on 01202 662170 or by emailing sales@uk-bathroom-mirrors.co.uk so we can issue you with a returns authorisation number. Any items sent back to us without an authorisation number will be refused.

You have the right to cancel the the contract at any time upto 7 working days after the day of delivery, the customer has a duty of care whilst the item(s) are in their possession, we suggest any returns to be used with the original packaging and box. There must not be any hand writing on the individual boxes, if there is, a re-boxing charge will occur. Bathroom Mirrors will not pay for unwanted goods to be returned. Goods can be returned by courier or registered post, we do not collect. Any claim for a refunded return will be refused after seven days, delivery dates are logged with our courier.

All products carry a 7-day money back policy (see returns policy above). This does not apply to hand-made items or products made to your specification. The product must not have been installed or modified in any way and we have the right to refuse refunds if they do not meet the above criteria.

Goods are refunded within 30 days of cancellation. The delivery charge will only be refunded in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods received by customer, this includes deliveries which were free of charge, this is outside of the 7 day cooling off period where the contract may be cancelled.

Faulty Merchandise

Please notify us within 7 days of receipt of any damages, faults or shortages, Bathroom Mirrors cannot accept responsibility after this period.

Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced or refunded in full in accordance with the customer's requirements. If only part of the item is damaged we will send out a replacement for the part that is damaged or faulty. In the event that a part cannot be sent, the whole item will be replaced. Bathroom Mirrors will pay the return delivery costs for any damaged or faulty items.

In the event of faulty goods or missing items Bathroom Mirrors will in no way be liable for any related expenses such as electrician's fees, loss of earnings etc.

Delivery Information

Delivery time is usually 2 to 6 working days from the order depending on stock, each product shows the average time of delivery. If in the unlikely event it will take longer you will be notified of this immediately.

Please note that deliveries to the Scottish Islands and Offshore Islands can take up to 2 extra days. Morning and Saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra cost, please enquire.

We use Business Post with all of our deliveries, you will receive an e-mail or text (if you used a mobile as the contact number) update once the order is despatched, informing you of the date of arrival.

Business Post deliver between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday. If there is no-one in to receive the delivery a card will be left by the courier containing instructions on how to arrange for a re-delivery.

Please note that Business Post will hold the parcel at your local depot for 3 days. It is up to you to contact Business Post to arrange a re-delivery. If you do not arrange re-delivery and the goods come back to Bathroom Mirrors you will have to pay the carriage again to have the goods re delivered. Refunds will only be given within the 7 day refund period and only the value of the goods will be refunded, not the delivery charge.

Prices

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication, errors and omissions are excepted.

Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.

Complaints

If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, fax, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days). It will then be dealt with confidentially, and effectively.

Price Beater Terms & Conditions

1. The competitor has to be an established online retailer and their web site has to be an e-commerce web site. We do not offer price beaters against products sold via online auctions.



2. The competitors web site has to be properly hosted with a registered domain name, we will not attempt to beat prices from web sites hosted on free web space.



3. The competitors web site has to be based in the UK.



4. The competitors advertised price has to verified by Bathroom Mirrors staff.



5. The competitors price has to be clearly advertised on their web site, we will not normally attempt to beat any promotion price or any price offered to you as a special one off deal.



6. We will only attempt to beat the prices from a list of our known competitors, we will however consider competitors not in our known list. We will reserve the right to refuse an attempt to beat the price of any competitor not in our known list.



7. We will only attempt to beat the price of like for like products produced by the same manufacturer.



8. In most cases price beaters will not be offered on end of line, one off special offers, clearance stock or seconds.

Warranty

All products with the exception of lamps (light bulbs) carry a 1 year return to base warranty, in the event of a fault occurring the product will be repaired or replaced according to the nature of the fault.

The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the product has been incorrectly fitted or suffered abuse in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.

All outdoor fittings come with a 5 year guarantee against corrosion, this guarantee is voided if the fitting(s) are being used by costal areas, farming areas and near power stations.

Installation

All products supplied by Bathroom Mirrors must be installed by a qualified electrician and all products must be earthed where necessary. The mains supply must always be isolated prior to installation.

Additional items such as screws and raw plugs etc are not supplied. Bathroom Mirrors will accept no liability for any personal damages such as electrocution due to improper installation.

Please do not book an electrician before the goods arrive, Bathroom Mirrors will not be held responsible for any electrician's costs if deliveries are delayed.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Dimmers

Most fittings using incandescent and halogen bulbs can be dimmed, energy saving and fluorescent bulbs are not suitable for dimming. All dimmers will produce some buzzing and noise at either the dimmer or the fitting. This is quite normal and does not indicate a fault.
